What is a Customer Invoice? 🧐

Sellers selling their products on marketplaces usually make out invoices to the marketplace, e.g. Takealot, and not to the end customer purchasing the product(s). However, sometimes the end customers want invoices made out to them with their particulars, such as VAT number, etc.

We’ve got you covered - you can generate PDF Customer Invoices on the Wherehouse dashboard without having to recapture the customer’s details.

Steps on Wherehouse:

1️⃣ Sign in to your Wherehouse account.

2️⃣ Click on the Orders button of the relevant catalogue (the button with the 🛒 icon).

3️⃣ Navigate to the order you want to generate an invoice for and click on it.

You can use the Filters function on the left to filter or search for the specific order.

A pop-up will open with the order and customer details.

4️⃣ Click the Generate Invoice button (top right 😉)

5️⃣ Review the customer details and add the Company Name or VAT number if required.

You can also overwrite the customer’s first and last name if desired.

6️⃣ When you’re ready, hit Download Invoice.

A pop-up of the invoice will open, and a PDF version of the invoice will automatically download to your device.
