Sync overrides allow you to customise how your stock and pricing data is synced across different platforms. These can be managed in bulk via our Export/Import functionality, or adjusted per SKU directly on the dashboard as detailed in this guide.
How to set Sync Overrides for a SKU

1️⃣ On the Wherehouse dashboard, navigate to the Catalogues page via either:
- Clicking on the Products button of the relevant catalogue (the 📦 icon).
- OR clicking Catalogues in the left sidebar and selecting your catalogue.
2️⃣ Use the Search bar or filters to find the specific SKU you wish to modify.

3️⃣ Click on the product to open the product details modal.
The modal displays all platforms (e.g., Loot, Takealot, Amazon) where this SKU exists. The Sync icon (🔄) indicates that Wherehouse is currently syncing data for that platform.

4️⃣ Select Platform: Click on the platform tag to reveal the dropdown menu.
5️⃣ Open Overrides: Within the dropdown, click on Sync Overrides.

6️⃣ Edit Fields: Update the specific fields you want to override:
- Pricing Overrides: Set platform-specific pricing that ignores your global catalogue price rules.
- List Price: The "Original" or higher price. This is used to show the value before a discount.
- Sell Price: The actual price the customer pays. If a Sell Price is entered, the List Price will typically appear with a strikethrough on the storefront.
Note:
Prices must be whole numbers only (e.g., 150). Do not include cents or symbols.
- Sync Flags: Control what data flows to the platform by ticking the relevant boxes:
Used when you want to prevent Wherehouse from overwriting values you manually set on the marketplace portal.
- Disable Stock Sync: Stops Wherehouse from updating stock levels for this SKU.
- Disable Price Sync: Stops Wherehouse from updating prices for this SKU.
- Disable Sync: Completely halts both stock and pricing updates for this SKU on this platform.
4️⃣ Save Changes: Click the Save Overrides button at the bottom right.
Note: Because sync happens on scheduled sync cycles, changes made to overrides may only reflect on the relevant platform after the next sync cycle, rather than immediately after uploading them.
Once saved, the platform tag will display new icons to indicate active overrides:

- The Adjustments Icon (🧮): Indicates active Pricing Overrides.
- The No Symbol (🚫): Indicates an active Sync Flag.
You can hover over these symbols to see a tooltip detailing the exact overrides in place 😉
